SD Group acquires small-scale wind turbine business of Kingspan Environmental

SD Group has announced the acquisition of small-scale wind turbine manufacturing business of UK-based Kingspan Environmental. Kingspan Environmental has employees and manufacturing capabilities in its site in Stewarton, Scotland. With the deal, SD Wind Energy is taking on existing customers, including an installed fleet of over 5,000 wind turbines globally. The company will continue to provide uninterrupted warranty and field support to its entire global portfolio.

SD Green Energy is also creating a new division called SD Wind Energy Ltd to manage the new branch created with the transaction. The new crew will also be supported by an existing international sales team based in Asia.
