Dalmore Capital, Pensions Infrastructure Platform completes acquisition of 49% stakes in 550 MW UK wind portfolio

Dalmore Capital Limited and Pensions Infrastructure Platform has completed the acquisition of 49% stakes in a 550 MW wind portfolio in UK. The joint venture of EDF Energy and EDF Energies Nouvelles has sold the stakes for cash proceeds of GBP 701 million (USD 919 million). 

EDF Renewables will continue to be the majority owner of the wind portfolio and the operator of the plants. EDF Energy, in turn, will continue to buy the electricity generated by the wind farms.

The portfolio includes:

  • 47.5 MW Corriemoillie wind project in Highlands, Scotland
  • 38 MW Longpark wind project in Borders, Scotland
  • 31.1 Beck Burn wind project in Cumbria
  • 26 MW Burnfoot Hill wind project in Clackmannanshire, Scotland
  • 26 MW Burnhead Moss wind project in Falkirk, Scotland
  • 19.2 MW Pearie Law wind project in West Lothian, Scotland
  • 15.3 MW Cemmaes wind project in Powys, Wales
  • 12.6 MW Walkway wind project in Durham
  • 12.3 MW Rhodders wind project in Clackmannanshire, Scotland
  • 12 MW Barmoor wind project in Northumberland
  • 9.4 MW Llangwyryfon wind project in Ceredigion – Wales
  • 8.6 MW Park Spring wind project in Barnsley
  • 8 MW Broom Hill wind project in Durham
  • 8 MW Langley wind project in Durham
  • 7.2 MW Roade wind project in Northamptonshire
  • 6.5 MW Fairfield wind project in Cumbria
  • 6.2 MW Boundary Lane wind project in Durham
