RWE and Koehler Paper, a part of Koehler Group, have signed a 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) for the energy produced from the 54 MW Waddenwind wind farm project located in the Groningen region of the Netherlands.
The project will provide a long-term green power supply of up to 175,000 MWh annually for the operation of Koehler. RWE combines the certificates of origin into a green power supply and integrates them into Koehler Paper's procurement portfolio.
The wind farm has been in operation since the start of 2022.
