Lhyfe plans to construct a 200 MW green hydrogen project near the Delfzijl chemical cluster in Groningen, the Netherlands. The plant will support the decarbonization efforts of local industrial and chemical firms that already utilize substantial amounts of hydrogen.
Lhyfe has already secured a site for the plant as well as the necessary renewable energy connections in the country. The facility, which will generate more than 20,000 tons of renewable hydrogen annually, is anticipated to be operational by 2026.
The hydrogen power station will be able to provide green hydrogen across the Netherlands, as well as to potential buyers in Germany and other neighboring countries.
