Rosatom's wind power division NovaWind has signed a memorandum of agreement with Myanmar's Ministry of Electric Power and Zeya & Associates to launch a feasibility study for the development of a 200 MW wind project in the Mandalay Region, Central Myanmar.
The memorandum provides for cooperation in carrying out wind measurements and a feasibility study to build a 200 MW wind farm near the towns of Kyaukpadaung and Nyaung-U.
