Risen Energy Co Ltd, a solar module producer based in China, signed to supply photovoltaic solar panels for the 240 MW Pokrovskaya solar project. The facility is developed by DTEK Renewables. The plant is located in the region of Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine.
The solar project will feature 72-cell 370-W PERC monocrystalline modules. The facility can meet the annual consumption of over 200,000 homes.
DTEK expects to commission 500 MW and 1 GW of wind and solar power generating capacity this year and the following year, respectively.
