The EU arm of Ukrainian renewable developer DTEK will build the 120 MW Ljubovo wind farm to be based in Lika-Senj County, central Croatia.

DTEK's European subsidiary, DRI, plans to begin construction of the project in 2027, with commissioning expected by late 2028. Once operational, the wind farm is projected to generate approximately 349 GWh annually. DRI’s initial projects in Croatia include the Brda Umovi wind farm and the Vedrine solar park, both located in Split-Dalmatia County, south of the Lika region. Brda Umovi will have an initial capacity of 127.5 MW, with an additional 28.8 MW in a second phase, aiming for grid connection in late 2026. The Vedrine solar plant, with a peak capacity of 60 MW, is expected to be operational in the second half of 2027. Both projects will connect via a new 110 kV line and substation built under the Brda Umovi contract.
