Potentia Renewables, through unit Emerald Solar Energy, has started the operation of the 25 MW first phase of the Solar Canoa solar photovoltaic farm in the Dominican Republic.
The US$45 million facility is developed on a 325,109 sq.m. area in the community of Canoa. It is expected to generate enough energy for the consumption of up to 30,000 households annually.
The project is supported by the Dominican Corporation of State Electric Companies (CDEEE).
