Dominican Republic starts the commercial operations of 50 MW Washington Capital Solar PV Park in Mata de Palma

The Government of the Dominican Republic has started commercial operations of the 50 MW Washington Capital Solar PV Park in Mata de Palma.

The Washington Capital solar park is expected to generate up to 110 million kWh each year. The project features 11 inverter stations, a 69-kV MVA elevation substation, and a 15-km, 69-kV transmission line.

The solar park also consists of 200,000 photovoltaic panels supplied by BAS Projects Corporation and Global Dominion.
