Repsol has reached an agreement with Pontegadea to become a partner in the Delta wind farm, which has been fully operational since last March 2021. The project has a total installed capacity of 335 MW.
Under the agreement signed in Madrid, Pontegadea invests EUR245 million (US$280.5 million) to take a 49% stake in the Delta wind farm. The project is located in the towns of Villar de los Navarros (Campo de Daroca) where it starts up at 236 MW, and Fuentes de Ebro (Ribera Baja de Ebro) with the remaining 100 MW capacity. The wind farm features 89 turbines.
