Aquila Capital inaugurates 50 MW La Cabrita solar PV project in Almeria

Aquila Capital has commissioned its 50 MW La Cabrita photovoltaic plant in southern Spain.

Located in Almeria province, La Cabrita includes 121,000 solar modules. It is expected to generate 87 GWh of power per year and avoid 28,986 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.

Alpiq has signed a five-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Aquila Capital while construction on the plant was being finalized.
