Taaleri SolarWind II has completed the acquisition of a 50 MWp solar photovoltaic project in Spain from Spanish PV specialist Valfortec.
The Niebla solar PV farm is in the ready-to-build stage and will be constructed in the municipality of San Juan del Puerto in the southern region of Andalusia. Valfortec has partnered with Taaleri Energia, the fund manager of Taaleri SolarWind II, for the development of the project. Banco de Sabadell SA will provide financing for the solar farm while Centrica Energy Trading will manage the sale of the energy output of the project under a long-term financial power purchase agreement (PPA) upon commissioning.
The project is expected to be operational before the end of 2022.
