Taiwanese engineering company CTCI Corp., through its subsidiary CTCI Machinery Corp., has completed the production of all the 48 pin piles that will be used for the jacket foundation of the first phase of 600 MW Changfang & Xidao offshore wind farm in Taiwan.
All of the manufactured pin piles passed the acceptance inspection one and half months ahead of the schedule. The foundations for the wind turbines for the first phase of the project are expected to be completed by June 2022.
The 600 MW Changfang & Xidao offshore wind farm project is located off Changhua County. The project is developed by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) in partnership with Taiwan Life Insurance Co and Transglobe Life Insurance Co. The project is targeted for commissioning by 2023.
