Vestas, a Danish wind turbine manufacturer, has constructed the first V174-9.5MW blade in Taiwan with its partner Tien Li Offshore Wind Technology.
The blades will be erected in 2022 at Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners' Changfang offshore wind project, as part of Vestas' V174-9.5 MW offshore turbine.
The first blade, which weighs 35 tons and is 85 meters in length, is made of Taiwanese materials and was constructed in a 210,000 square meter production facility in Taichung, Taiwan.
