The Louisiana Public Service Commission has granted regulatory approval for the sale of electricity from the 160 MW DC solar photovoltaic (PV) project to a local utility in the state of Louisiana, USA.
The project, promoted by Opdenergy Holding SA, will supply clean energy to Entergy Louisiana under a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA). The solar PV farm will be constructed in Allen Parish with the construction set to start in early 2023.
Once operational, the project will generate about 302 GWh of clean energy that will be supplied to the grid annually. The target commissioning is before Q3 2024.
