Oncor Electric Delivery Co plans to acquire InfraREIT's Texas business

Oncor Electric Delivery Co is planning to acquire the electric transmission utility business of InfraREIT in in Central, North and West Texas, USA. 

InfraREIT is engaged in owning and leasing rate-regulated electric transmission assets in the state of Texas and is structured as a real estate investment trust.

The deal represents a total investment of about US$1.3 billion.
