Octopus Renewables signs deal for 7.75% stakes acquisition in 270 MW Lincs offshore wind farm project

Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust has signed an agreement to acquire a 7.75% stake in the 270 MW Lincs offshore wind farm project located off the English coast in the UK. 

The project has been in operation since 2013. It consists of  75 Siemens 3.6 MW three-blade turbines with horizontal-axis installed in a water depth from 10m to 15m in the North Sea and are equipped with a 120m-diameter rotor and 58.5m-long rotor blades. The wind farm is operated and managed by the Danish renewable energy group Ørsted.

The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
