The New South Wales government has approved the 100MW Wyalong solar farm located in West Wyalong, Australia. The project has a potential to save up to 212,000 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions and reduce overall emissions. This solar project would be one of more solar projects that contributes to communities throughout the Riverina region.
The NSW Government has approved 26 solar projects across its state, constributes about 4500 construction jobs and supporting about EUD5 billion (US$3.46 billion) investment in regional and rural NSW since 2017.
