Nordex Group has been awarded a turbine order by VRES Enerji for the development of the 56 MW extension project of the Kartal wind farm located in the Eskişehir Province, Turkey.
The project will consist of 8 units of N163/6.X turbines. The order also includes a Premium Service contract for ten years. The installation work is scheduled for mid-2024.
In total, the Nordex Group secured 101 MW in orders from Türkiye in the second quarter of the year. To date, the company has installed 3,571 MW in the region with an additional 889 MW still under construction.
