Neoen has started the construction of the 93 MWp Fox Coulée solar photovoltaic facility located at Starland County in Alberta, Canada. The construction contract was awarded to Goldbeck Solar.

The project is expected to be operational in Q1 of 2024. Once operational, the solar plant will generate enough power for up to 20,000 homes and offsets about 70,000 tonnes of carbon emission per year.

The solar farm will be connected to ATCO Electric's distribution system, at 24.5 kV, once commissioned.
