Naturgy Energy Group SA has started the commercial operation of the 35.2 MW Torozos II wind farm located in the municipalities of Velilla, Berceruelo, Villasexmir and Torrelobatón in Valladolid, Castilla y León, Spain.
The EUR39 million (US$39.17 million) project will have 16 wind turbines and can generate up to 101.5 GWh of energy per year. The wind farm is expected to produce enough power for the consumption of up to 29,100 local homes.
