N-ergie AG has started the commercial operation of two solar photovoltaic (PV) projects with a combined capacity of 29 MWp in Bavaria, Germany.
The 19 MWp Fuchsloch solar PV farm and the 10 MWp Rossgraben solar PV facility consists of about 22,000 solar modules. The two projects are expected to generate up to 31.03 million kWh of clean electricity annually.
The projects will not receive subsidies under the EEG scheme for the 22 MW of power generated. A significant amount of the energy that will be produced from the plants will be supplied to the communities under a power purchase agreement (PPA).
