Myanmar signs PPA for 30 MW hydropower project

Myanmar's Ministry of Electricity and Energy and Neo Energy Oasis Development Company Ltd. signed a power purchase agreement for the 30.4 MW hydro powered plant.

The hydro project is located in Upper Balu Chaung (Southern Shan State) producing 134.482 million kilowatt-hours annually. Upper Baluchaung Hydropower Project is run-off river type that  features two power plants with 20.4 MW and 10 MW capacity, respectively.

Neo Energy Oasis Co Ltd is the developer of the project.
