Thai advisory firm announces 130 MW solar project in Myanmar

Modern Energy Management (MEM), a renewable energy advisory firm based in Thailand, has announced that it is developing a 130 MWp solar project in Myanmar.

The company has partnered with an undisclosed investor to realise the project, which will utilise photovoltaic technology. The two partners will share development risk.

The solar power plant is scheduled to commence operations in the fourth quarter of 2019. MEM is currently determining the location of the project within Myanmar.
