Mitteldeutsche Braunkohlengesellschaft mbH (MIBRAG) has applied for an environmental permit under the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) with the state of Saxony-Anhalt for the development of a 60 MW onshore wind project in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.
MIBRAG plans to invest up to EUR70 million (US$73.94 million) to develop the project. Profen II wind farm will consist of 10 6-MW wind turbines that can generate up to 160 GWh of energy per year.
The project is expected to be operational before the end of mid-2023.
