MaxSolar GmbH has received approval for the construction of a 125 MWp solar photovoltaic project in Bundorf, Bavaria, Germany.
On April 26, 2022, the municipal council of Bundorf voted unanimously in favor of the project that will be located north of the Bavaria community. The project will require a total investment of over EUR85 million (US$88.99 million) and is scheduled to start in 2022. Once operational, the solar park is expected to generate electricity enough to supply more than 37,500 homes and will deliver the output to the grid operated by Bayernwerke through a substation, which will be built by MaxSolar.
