Matrix Renewables, a TPG rise-backed renewable energy platform, has announced a new long-term financing agreement with Banco Santander for its 50 MW Olivares Project, which is located in the Spanish province of Jaen.
The construction of the Olivares solar plant is expected to create 175 jobs, of which 40% are local. It is expected to begin operating in the third quarter of 2022, delivering clean electricity to households and businesses in Spain.
