Amplus Solar has awarded Jakson Group an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for the development of a 121 MW solar photovoltaic project located in Bikaner, Rajasthan, India. The Financial details of the project were not disclosed.
Once completed, it is anticipated that the project will offset more than 3.1 million tonnes of carbon emission per year, which is comparable to removing 5,581,100 cars from the road. The project is expected to provide long-term power to leading commercial and industrial users.
