Green infrastructure company Japan Asia Group Ltd (JAG) has successfully completed the construction of the 16.6 MW Sano Solar Way photovoltaic (PV) project on the area of 180 hectares, Tochigi prefecture, Japan. The project can supply the annual electricity needs of 5,220 local homes.
Solar Frontier KK, a Japanese module manufacturer, will supply the solar panels to the facility. TEPCO Energy Partner Inc., a unit of Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings Inc., will purchase the power output of the facility.
The construction of the project was carried out by the local companies.
