Etrion Corporation has secured the forest development permit for its 45 MW Niigata solar photovoltaic project that will be built in the Niigata prefecture in northern Japan. Now the project has all necessary permits to start building.
Etrion hopes to reach the financial close by the end of June and start construction shortly after.
The ground-mounted fixed-tilt solar project has secured the Feed-in-Tariff of JPY36000 (US$324.9) per MWh of energy produced. The solar park is expected to commence operation before the end of 2021.
