Etrion Corporation has completed the sale of its interests in the 45 MW Niigata solar project under construction to Renewable Japan Co. Ltd and Daiichi Life Insurance Company Limited for gross proceeds of JPY6.3 billion (approximately US$57.3 million).
The project is a ground-mounted fixed-tilt solar photovoltaic farm built on 75.7 hectares of owned land in the Niigata prefecture of Japan. It is expected to produce approximately 47 gigawatt-hours of solar electricity per year, enough to supply more than 13,000 Japanese households.
