Ingeteam has commissioned a 640 MWdc Solar facility developed and managed by Parliament Energy located in Waller County, just outside the city of Houston in Texas, USA.
Expected to generate around 1,100 GWh of clean energy annually—sufficient to power approximately 140,000 Texas homes—the project features 149 INGECON® SUN 3Power Series C liquid-cooled central photovoltaic inverters integrated into 80 UL-certified transformer stations, delivered as a turnkey solution. Commissioning, conducted from Ingeteam’s Milwaukee facility, was expedited using grid-forming technology. Ingeteam has supplied over 6 GW of solar and energy storage inverters to the US market, where solar power surpassed nuclear capacity in 2024, accounting for 81.5% of new generating capacity added that year, according to a Federal Energy Regulatory Commission report.
