Located in the Villarino district of Villarina 33 kilometers south of the city of Bahía Blanca, La Castellana wind farm has been ianugurated. The park will provide 99 MW of renewable energy to the national system which corresponds to the electrical needs of more than 115,000 households.
This project was awarded in Round 1 of the RenovAr program. It comprises 47 Nordex AW 125/3000 and 32 Acciona wind turbines. The supply contract was closed with the electricity wholesale market management company S.A. (CAMMESA).
