Construction works has commenced in the 80 MW solar PV project in Argentina's Salta province.
The construction will be carried out with 30% of local components and it is estimated that the solar farm will enter operations in June 2019.
The renewable energy generated the facility will enter the Argentine interconnected system through the high voltage line of 132 kilovolts that links Cafayate with Pampa Grande, a town in the Guachipas department.
The scheme is being developed by Canadian Solar.
