Swedish wind power developer OX2 will build four onshore wind farms in Finland without subsidies. Ikea would finance the construction and acquire the farms once they are fully operational in 2020.
The subsidy-free wind power projects in the Nordic region will have a total capacity of 107 MW and an annual output of 360 GWh. The facilities are located in Ostrobothnia in Långmossa and Ribäcken, in Southern Ostrobothnia in Ponsivuori and in Southwest Finland in Verhonkulma.
