OX2 has announced that it has signed an agreement with Prime Capital for the technical and commercial management of an operating wind farm with just over 23 MW capacity, located in northern Finland.
The wind farm is located between Posio and Kuusamo in northern Finland and consists of seven Vestas V126 turbines, producing approximately 80 GWh per year. It was built in 2016 within the framework of the Finnish funding system for wind power and has a capacity factor of close to 40 percent.
OX2 has also been contracted to perform a technical upgrade of the wind farm.
OX2's announcement states that Prime Capital, on behalf of one of its institutional clients, is taking over ownership of the wind farm as of today. No details of the acquisition are given. However, in 2015 Vestas was contracted to supply the wind farm by E-Group, a Slovakian company.
