Idemitsu Kosan Co Ltd has announced the start of commercial operation of the 73 MW Luciana solar project in Tulare County, California, USA.
The Luciana plant is estimated to generate enough clean and inexpensive energy to power over 20,000 California homes. The project´s renewable energy will be sold to East Bay Clean Energy (EBCE), which serves Alameda County and surrounding cities, under a 15-year power purchase agreement.
