Guzman Energy has completed the construction of a 15 MW solar photovoltaic array and a 12.5 MW battery storage facility located northwest of Taos in New Mexico, USA.
The energy output of the project has been contracted by a member-owned electric distribution utility Kit Carson Electric Cooperative (KCEC). The solar farm is installed on about 170 acres of land and is comprised of 43,680 solar panels, which will be capable of providing energy to around 7,500 homes.
Full commissioning of the plant will proceed once the ongoing testing is completed.
