Leeward Renewable Energy (LRE) has completed the construction and started the commercial operation of its 145 MW Panorama Wind Farm located in Weld County in Colorado, USA.
The wind project consists of 66 Vestas wind turbines. The construction and term financing for the project was secured from MUFG Bank, Ltd., National Australia Bank, Silicon Valley Bank, and Helaba Group, and tax equity was funded by Goldman Sachs.
The Panorama Wind Farm is designed to generate enough electricity to power approximately 53,000 homes with clean energy. It has secured an off-take contract with wholesale power provider Guzman Energy.
