Guzman Energy and Leeward Renewable Energy have announced the execution of a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the 145 MW Panorama Wind Farm located in Weld County, Colorado.
The Panorama Wind Farm is expected to generate enough electricity to power approximately 53,000 homes with clean energy and to deliver economic benefits to the county. In addition, the project will create 185 jobs during peak construction and permanent renewable energy jobs in the community.
The construction of the facility is scheduled to commence in early July and is projected to be completed in December 2021. The Panorama Wind Farm will consist of over 60 wind turbines supplied and commissioned by Vestas-American Wind Technology. Leeward will own and operate the wind farm.
