Vestas divests its 183 MW wind project in Mississippi
Vestas has divested its 183 MW Delta onshore wind project located in Mississippi, USA to AES Corporation.
The project will feature one of the highest tip heights in North America to take advantage of stronger winds at higher altitudes.
Steelhead Americas, Vestas’ North American development arm, developed the project and led all development efforts including permitting, land acquisition, and construction design to deliver the customer a project that is ready for construction and installation.
