Greencoat UK Wind Plc, a renewable energy fund managed by Greencoat Capital LLP, has completed the acquisition of the 37.8 MW Twentyshilling onshore wind farm located in Scotland, UK from Statkraft AS.
The project construction has been completed in early 2022 in Sanquhar in Dumfries & Galloway. The wind farm consists of 9 turbines that are expected to generate enough energy for up to 36,000 homes annually.
Under the deal, Statkraft will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the project.
