Australian renewables energy developer Green Gold Energy is set to build two solar photovoltaic facilities in South Australia with a combined capacity of 250 MW.
The 150 MW solar project in the town of Australia Plains and a 100 MW solar plant near Morgan will commence construction in 2021. Green Gold Energy will be partnering with Golden Invest Pty and Edel New Energy Pty. Astronergy (Chint Solar) will serve as the engineering, construction, and procurement contractor for the projects.
The commercial operation of solar plants is expected to start in 2022.
