The State Government of Queensland has launched a tender for the development of potential renewable energy generation and storage projects located at three zones in the southern, central, and northern parts of the state.
The State Government plans to invest up to AUD145 million (US$105.5 million) commitment to establish three renewable energy zones across the state.
In these areas, the State Government will undertake strategic network investments, streamline the development of new renewable energy projects, and work to match industrial energy demand with our cheap, clean renewable energy.
The deadline for the submission of interest is on September 25, 2020.
