Luminous Energy enters deal with Hana Financial Group for the sale of Columboola solar project

UK solar developer Luminous Energy has secured financial close for the development of the 162 MW Columboola solar project in Queensland after an agreement for the sale of the project to South Korea’s Hana Financial Investment Ltd.

The project will be built in Miles, approximately 33km north-west of Chinchilla in south-east Queensland, Australia. It will consist of bifacial panels and single-axis trackers that generates up to 640,000 MWh annually. The energy produced from the solar park will be sold to CS Energy. 

India’s Sterling and Wilson Solar Ltd will be constructing the project which will commence before the end of 2020.
