Iberdrola has acquired the 19.94% stakes in Infigen Energy Ltd. from Philippine UAC Energy Holding, a joint venture of Ayala Corporation’s AC Energy and the Hong Kong-based UPC Renewables Group.
UAC Energy has sold the deal to Iberdrola for around AUD25 million (US$18 million). Iberdrola Renewables Australia Pty has also extended the acquisition of Infigen securities for minority shareholders for AUD 0.92 (US$0.67) until September 23, 2020. The minorities hold 3% shares.
Infigen is an Australian renewable energy operator that operates onshore wind energy, solar projects, and energy storage facilities.
