Luminous Energy secures grid connection approval for 162 MW Columboola Solar Farm in Miles

Luminous Energy has signed a contract to connect its 162 MW Columboola solar project in Miles to the electricity grid in Queensland once operational.

The solar facility is planned to be connected to the grid through Powerlink’s Columboola Substation. The project also involves the construction of a transmission line of about 2 km length.

The construction of the transmission line is planned to start in april of 2020.
