The German government is drafting a new package of measures to significantly expedite the development of renewable energy across the country.
In the near future, two solar energy packages and a wind energy package will be proposed. This would aim to eliminate administrative obstacles and expedite the approval process for new renewable energy projects. Additionally, this year, Germany must plan the expansion of the hydrogen economy, including infrastructure, production, and regulation.
In the first three months, the government will address the issue of providing competitive electricity pricing from renewable sources for industrial customers, so that businesses may reap the benefits of renewable energy.
No other information regarding the intended measures was given.
