Energiekontor has completed the sale of the 19 MWp solar photovoltaic project located in the municipality of Karstädt in Prignitz, Brandenburg, Germany to Hamburg-based asset manager CEE Group.
The project is currently under construction and is targeted for commercial operation by early 2023. The solar farm is expected to generate about 20 GWh of green energy annually, enough for the consumption of up to 6,000 homes.
For roughly one-fourth of the solar park, there is a guaranteed remuneration based on the German feed-in-tariff (EEG) for a duration of 20 years. For roughly two-thirds of the solar park, a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) has been secured which has a duration of 15 years.
The new solar park in Karstädt will be equipped with solar modules from the manufacturer Trina. The inverters come from the manufacturer Huawei.
