Enercity AG has finalized the acquisition of a 365 MW portfolio of onshore wind projects in Germany.
The assets were sold by Norderland Group, which has developed the portfolio gradually since the 1990s. Enercity AG now increases its total wind generation capacity to 712 MW.
The portfolio includes approximately 60 operating wind farm companies with over 160 wind turbines in the windiest regions of the country. The deal included an attractive repowering pipeline and associated infrastructure. The wind farms are located mainly in Lower Saxony, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Brandenburg.
